Senior Technical Analyst: # Provide technical support to the production systems used in the Copy and Print environment. This position will provide the management of issues and communications of identified issues to our business partners, vendors, IT management team and stores. Specialized knowledge of several key areas within the scope of that team's responsibilities will be required as well as some broad knowledge of all areas that fall within that team's purview. 1. Level 3 help desk support. 2. Communication, coordination and tracking of issues with vendors and business partners. 3. Validation of reported issues to isolate training issues versus system issues 4. Performs configuration, tuning, update coordination, and administration of Copy and Print Web Vendors. 5. Evaluates systems, their performance, and provides reports and recommendations to management. 6. Participates in resolution of complex priority issues. 7. Maintains all relevant documentation. 8. Identifies opportunities for continuous improvement. 9. Participates in on call rotation Qualifications Basic: Bachelor's degree or equivalent 3-5 years of relevant expereince Experience with defining and executing system tests - Perform tests Experience with defining and executing support procedures Previous experience providing support for a client server web application Basic SQL query knowledge Experience providing support in a Windows XP Internet Explorer environment Demonstrated knowledge of data flows in an Information System environment Preferred: Ability to Analyze problems and issues Quick learner Ability to plan work Ability to work effectively and efficiently Ability to engage in innovation Ability TO Deliver service requirements Ability to write and speak effectively Ability to build relationships - Relate well to others Ability to leverage diversity - Understand and respect differences Adaptability - Adapt productively Digital print experience preferred Experience with vendor relations Adobe PDF workflow preferred Web to Print experience preferred Job: Information Technology Location(s): US-MA-Framingham Schedule: Full-time Job Level: Non-Manager Shift: Day Job Job Type: Experienced Employment Statement Staples is an Equal Opportunity Employer who values the diversity of our people, products, and services.
