Senior Test Analyst ( BFS IIM)
About the Role
The Banking and Financial Services Group is seeking a Senior Test Analyst to join the Integration Information Management team (IIM). Reporting to the Test Manager, the role will entail a mix of leadership , but primarily a hands-on testing role with opportunity for growth.
Due to the continued growth of the platform, an opportunity exists for a self motivated Senior Test Analyst to join this well established and successful team. The projects delivered by the team will enhance the platform to drive growth in new client segments and meet the growing needs of the existing client base.
As an integral part of the Project team you will be responsible for:
- Designing and maintaining test plans, test conditions, test specifications, test scripts and procedures
- Test execution, recording of test results and test progress reporting
- Provide progress reports on the status of testing to stakeholders, including the Test Manager, Development and project teams.
- Logging defects and producing defect reports
- Contributing to improvements to Testing Processes
- Utilising test tools to automate testing effort where appropriate
About You
To be successful in this role you will have:
- Experience working both autonomously and as part of a team.
- Experience of the full testing life cycle is essential, including system/functional, regression, integration and user acceptance testing.
- Experience of producing high level test plans, owning and managing the overall testing effort on individual projects.
- Experience of working to methodologies such as Waterfall, V-Model and/or Agile.
- Experience of writing test scripts, managing defects and reporting in Quality Centre or a similar Test Management system
- Practical Experience of testing Data Warehouse - BI solutions
- Knowledge of at least 1 BI Tool from a Testing perspective (DataStage or Informatica)
