Position

Our Equity Trading group is seeking to hire an Equity Trade Administrator who will provide trading support to Wellington's Asian Trading effort. This person will be located in Hong Kong.

Responsibilities

• Ensure the accuracy of executions and allocations for all equity transactions, including derivatives, syndicate and private placements
• Research and resolve any trade discrepancies
• Assist with the processing and allocation of international IPO's, secondary offerings, and private placements
• Obtain and disseminate pertinent market information
• Support traders with order adjustments, stock borrows and client specific requirements throughout the day
• Work closely with other WMC departments to ensure timely, accurate and thorough support of client needs

Qualifications

The successful candidate must have a college degree with at least five years of relevant industry experience. In addition, the following set of skills is required for this position:

• Strong working knowledge of Equity Derivatives a plus
• Strong interpersonal skills for dealing with internal portfolio managers, analysts, sell-side dealers, vendors, and consultants
• Highly organized
• Ability to work in a team environment
• Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment under tight deadlines
• Familiarity with Bloomberg, Calypso, OASYS Global and OASYS Domestic a plus.
• MBA and/or CFA a plus
