Leading European Bank - Head of trade finance – China – Mandarin Speaking
A top global investment bank is looking to add a head of trade finance to their extremely stable platform. This senior position will take charge of the trade finance department of the bank and will provide a rare opportunity to join a top name at such a high seniority. This senior position will report directly into the top levels in this highly regarded European bank. It is important that candidates wishing to apply have a strong understanding of the local culture and have experience working in Mainland China.
Candidates wishing to apply for this position must have experience working with:
• Accounts receivables purchase,
• Trade loans,
• Letters of credits,
• Documentary Credits,
• Open account trade,
• People and product management,
• Product development
Candidates wishing to apply for the position must:
• several years of relevant experience
• Experience working within all aspects of trade finance
• Experience working within Mainland China.
• Fluent in English and Mandarin to a native level.
• Good overall experience of trade finance from middle office through to front office- including credit approvals/ documentation/ risk/ front office origination/ revenue generation/ relationship management/ trade sales
• This is predominantly a front office, revenue generating role but it is important to also understand the middle office framework of trade finance deals
