Senior Trade Finance Transactor recruitment
Job Purpose:
- To structure and execute Trade Finance deals
- To work closely with partners to originate Trade Finance opportunities
- To lead Trade Finance proposition across selected Industries
- To access, develop and open new markets and clients
Job Background/context:
- GTS EMEA/Treasury and Trade Solutions/Trade Services
Key Responsibilities:
- To originate, structure and execute Trade Finance deal delivering incremental revenue stream to Product PL
- Identify and develop target markets and client segments
- Take on role as deal primary, selling product solutions against customer opportunities sourced directly and with partners
- Champion the product and lead on deal structuring
- Interact closely to provide product knowledge, support and guidance to other units including Relationship Management, Sales, Credit, and Operations
- Develop Trade Finance product offering
- Execution of product strategies for select EMEA Trade Finance Products
- Ensure product solutions are aligned with regulatory and institutional requirements

Qualifications
Knowledge/Experience:
- In depth experience, knowledge and deal execution experience in the following product set (experience gained either through a product management, sales or risk role):
- Import / Export Loans (structured
- Trade Receivables finance (negotiable as well as non negotiable instruments)
- Portfolio based trade financing solutions
- Previous work experience with business development and structuring responsibilities
- Track Record in Sales and Deal Execution
- Knowledge of the Trade Finance market
- An understanding of Risk management is essential
Skills:
- Excellent Sales and Deal Execution skills
- Ability to originate and lead deals
- Ability to develop creative and innovative solutions
- Able to take a concept through to execution
- Ability to build relationships from start up to mature companies
- Excellent Risk management experience
Qualifications:
- At least ten years relevant experience
- Graduate / Postgraduate qualification
- Credit/Risk qualifications (e.g. appointed credit officers)
