Senior Treasury Analyst Investments

The Senior TreasuryAnalyst - Investments, will support the three major investing activities (Public Equity, Fixed Income and Alternative Investments) of investment portfolios related to the Kaiser Foundation Health Plan, Kaiser Foundation Hospitals, the Kaiser Permanente Defined Contribution Plans and the group trust for the Kaiser Permanente Pension Plans. The assets encompass a variety of investment strategies including fixed income, public and private equity, hedge funds and real return assets. The assets total approximately $43 billion. Essential Functions: - This position will have a general supporting role for public equity and fixed income investments, and assist with the alternative investment portfolios as needed on focused projects and initiatives. -Will interface with a variety of audiences including senior management, regional executives, medical group executives, key vendors such as custodians, recordkeepers and consultants. - Willinterface withinternal auditors, actuaries, several external auditors, internal Sarbanes-Oxley groups and several sets of external regulators. -Will be responsible for assisting in the management of numerous portfolios which primarily encompass tax-exempt assets such as retirement plans, VEBA's, foundation assets and a taxable insurance portfolio. -Will entail significant spreadsheet and slide presentation work. Qualifications: Basic Qualifications: - Seven or more years of Treasury or related business experience. - Four (4) year degree in finance or related field or equivalent experience. -Thorough knowledge of treasury policies, practices and systems. - Regularly contributes to the development of new treasury concepts, techniques, and standards. - Frequently contributes to the development of new treasury work processes. -Understanding of industry practices and standards, sufficient to identify deviance from those practices and standards; interested in and making time for keeping up with changing standards and practices Preferred Experience: - Education with an emphasis in business, treasury or finance. - Certification in specialized functions(e.g., ARM, CPA, CPUC). - Strong experience with Microsoft Excel and Powerpoint
