Senior Treasury Officer Intra-group Funding recruitment

As a global leader in risk and capital management, our success is built on forward-looking, committed employees who are keenly focused on quality. Are you ready for the challenge?

Senior Treasury Officer Intra-group Funding

Strengthen our Capital Management unit in Zurich by managing the intra-group funding process and actively engage in initiatives aimed at controlling, optimizing and simplifying intra-group transactions between the main entities of the group.

The opportunity
In this position you will lead and manage ongoing reviews and documentation of intra-group loans, from setting up the facility to controlling its performance and repayment. This includes Finma reporting of loans which are above a certain threshold. It will be up to you to maintain an overview of major intra-group transactions and document main capital and liquidity benefits. To improve the funding structure within Swiss Re you will contribute ideas to optimise and reduce its complexity. You will be the key contact person regarding the intra-group transaction policy. You will be the main port of call within Capital Management for Swiss Re Funding entities globally and have exposure to senior financial leadership such as the Group Treasurer.

About you
As our preferred candidate you will have a graduate degree (Master's or equivalent) in finance or economics, ideally in combination with an accounting/CFA qualification. You can rely on 5 to 10 years' professional experience in the finance sector preferably in Treasury/Funding roles. Previous exposure to risk-based solvency regimes and/or rating agency models would definitely be a plus. Your command of English is excellent and you are a strong communicator with interpersonal and analytical skills and the ability to influence business decisions. If you characterize yourself as a strong team player who is also capable of managing complex tasks and dealing with conflicting views, you should send in your application.
