Senior UK Media Relations Manager – Global Asset Manager recruitment
Our client is a leading global asset manager with an enviable profile and reputation in the wholesale and institutional market. They are seeking a Senior UK Media Relations Manager for their London office. Reporting into the Global Head of Corporate Communications, key responsibilities include; defining and implementing the media relations strategy for the UK, developing relationships with journalists to drive proactive and positive media relations activities, working closely with senior stakeholders to generate press coverage, helping to manage any defensive media relations issues, managing the relationship with their PR agency, measuing the impact of media relations activity, co-ordinating submissions for corporate awards and surveys and organising media events. The successful candidate will possess agency/in-house media relations experience gained in asset management or capital markets, strong relationship building, lobbying and writing skills, the ability to thrive in a pressurised environment and knowledge of working with cross functional teams. Fluency in French would be useful.
