Senior User Experience Designer
MetLife is seeking User Experience Specialist to join a dynamic and exciting team. The user experience designer will be a core member of a team that contributes to critical business success metrics. The candidate will be responsible for creating online experiences that drive engagement, increase sales and generate revenue. This person will be a talented professional who combines strategic vision with demonstrated online success. This position requires expert knowledge of User Centered Design principles and best practices for the development of optimal user experiences to create a competitive advantage in the marketplace. In partnership with various MetLife teams, the candidate will assist delivering campaigns that show meaningful business results, while continually growing their skill set. Principal Responsibilities: 1. Participate in the development, execution, and management of online experiences to drive customer satisfaction, brand preference, lead generation, and sales. 2. Maintain positive working relationships with vendors, and internal partners through proactive communication, effective negotiations, and coordination. 3. Collaborate within User Experience team to understand consumer needs, behavior and attitudes in an effort to develop optimal experiences. 4. Collaborate with analytics to understand campaign performance and take action on opportunities to optimize. 5. Participate in meetings with product teams and Global Brand Marketing and Communications team members to obtain key product information, selling points, benefits to the consumer and competitive benchmarking, and integrate learnings into user experience. 6. Gather and analyze business requirements. 7. Create experience maps, personas, scenarios and use cases. 8. Create intuitive navigation, information flows, user interfaces and page designs. 9. Create wireframes and related documentation that demonstrate the structure and function of proposed designs. 10. Participate in A/B and Multivariate testing by creating efficient test plans, measuring effectiveness and applying learnings. 11. Collaborate with internal and external Creative teams in the delivery of finalized visual designs and assets 12. Effectively communicate proposed solutions to business partners. 13. Participate in user research projects such as surveys and usability testing.
