Senior VP / Director, Private Banking

The Relationship Manager advises a client base on their portfolio of investments. They find, attract, and win new clients, nurture and retain those the company already has and entice former clients back into the Bank.

Responsibilities

• Continuously develop relationships with a portfolio of clients

• Foster and promote the client's interests and needs throughout the advisory process

• Maintenance and development of long/term client relationships

• Provide a "Single Point of Entry" into the bank with an efficient access to a network of specialists within the bank and outside

• Act as a personal Wealth Manager; draw up a comprehensive asset strategy which reflects the dynamics between personal and business assets (holistic approach)

• Maximize client assets and revenues under the bank’s management

• Provide a comprehensive financial investment service

• Ensure that client’s portfolio of investments meet legal and regulatory requirements through effective co-ordination with Risk and Compliance departments

• Follow and adhere to the bank’s code of ethics and the Cross Border regulations

• Share expertise with other RMs of a more junior level.

 

Requirements

Being the successful candidate, you should be:

• Minimum 6 years’ professional experience successfully advising High Net Worth Clients

• University degree or other recognized qualifications

• Proven track record in acquisition success and extensive product and investment knowledge

• Outstanding relationship management capabilities with strong analytical, risk management, marketing, communication and interpersonal skills

• Fluent in English, Cantonese and Mandarin
