Senior VP, Global Head, Commodities Product Control – Oil recruitment
The team holds responsibility for PL, Risk and Balance Sheet Control. You will have oversight of 12 staff globally – based in London, Asia and the US – with expectations this will grow substantially. You will manage the entire function as well taking a leadership role with regards to ongoing system and process improvement projects within the wider Commodities Product Control and associated groups.
Duties responsibilities include:
- Daily management of the Global Crude and Options Product Control function, as well any required reporting
- Staff appraisals / reviews and daily man management of 12 staff members, inclusive of VP, AVP and Analyst-level staff
- Liaise with Senior management within Product Control as well as Finance, Front Office, Risk, IT and other internal groups
- Provide assistance and analysis regarding the introduction of new products
Profile required:
- Strong knowledge of Crude Oil – with experience of financial and physical forwards
- Commodities trading house and banking experience
- Qualified Accountant / experience of accounting within a role – with UK US GAAP understanding
- Experience of leading a team of staff at a senior level
- Experience of project ownership/leadership
