Your Challenge:
- Located in Zurich you support Middle East Relationship Managers (RMs) based in Zurich, Geneva and the local Dubai office and their international private clientele with your strong advisory capabilities in wealth management structures as well as succession- and tax-planning issues (e.g. through international structures such as insurance schemes, trusts, foundations, companies and other private-law and tax-law solutions)
- Actively coordinate the wealth planning process by drawing on the expertise of internal and external experts
- Implement the wealth planning strategies, e.g. through the establishment of suitable vehicles (companies, insurance contracts, trusts, foundations, collective investment schemes or similar) and other solutions, working with internal and external providers
- Direct client contact and contact with RMs on a daily basis (including the preparation of presentations, proposals, planning and strategy papers)
- Provide the above mentioned support for RMs in Zurich and other locations in Switzerland and/or abroad (including regular travel activities)
- Become an active member of a highly efficient, professional team of Wealth Tax Planning Advisors in Zurich by complementing the existing group of advisors from diverse legal backgrounds
Your capabilities:
- You hold a law or tax-law degree ideally from a common law country; e.g. the UK; with additional, relevant technical qualifications preferred (e.g. STEP diploma, CA and/or CFP)
- You can demonstrate several years of professional experience in the relevant financial services sectors and/or comparable private client practices (e.g. private bank, attorney-at-law office, tax advisor and/or fiduciary company) with a focus on clients resident in the Middle East
- You have a good understanding of the issues related to Sharia succession and have some local knowledge of the region
- You offer an analytical, systematic and efficient work ethic. You bring exceptional communication skills, an entrepreneurial spirit, creativity and reliability with the willingness and ability to work under pressure. You work on your own initiative and are a team player. You are open-minded, able to think out of the box and provide comprehensive solutions. You are competent to act as a project leader in virtual teams of diverse internal and external specialists to manage complex client cases through a wealth planning process.
- Fluent in English is mandatory; additional foreign languages would be an advantage
