Senior Wildlife Biologist Job in Edmonton, Alberta Canada

Description:

Design Group has partnered with a dynamic environmental company to assist them in their search for a Senior Wildlife Biologist.

Responsibilities include:

·         planning and implementation of various wildlife surveys and other field programs;

·         participation in biological inventories, environmental assessments, biological monitoring programs, and other types of natural resource projects;

·         compilation, statistical analysis, and interpretation of field data;

·         GIS processing including habitat suitability index modelling, linkage zone analysis, core security analysis, patch analysis, and resource function analysis; and

·         report preparation and client liaison.

Requirements:

·         9+ years of related experience in wildlife biology

·         Solid experience in the consulting industry

·         M.Sc. degree in wildlife

·         Member of Alberta Society of Professional Biologists of eligible for registration

·         willingness to travel and work in the field
