Service Desk Analyst - 2nd Line Trader Support / Market Data - Active Directory / VIP / Windows XP / Windows 7 / Deskside / Desktop - Investment Banking - contract £170-180p/d - 6 months - London

A prestigious investment bank requires an experienced Service Desk Analyst with previous banking knowledge to come on board and provide support and advice to trading staff and other VIPs.

The main responsibilities of the VIP Support Analyst will be to act as a point of contact for users with technology related issue, centred on market data and desktop issues; providing 1st / 2nd line telephone support and deskside assistance.

Essential experience of the Desktop Support Analyst:

* Previous trading support experience in a trading / banking environment.
* VIP support is highly regarded, within highly pressured environments.
* Windows XP and Windows 7 experience.
* Experience with Market Data Applications (Reuters / Bloomberg for example).

This is a great opportunity to secure a long contract, with a renowned company within a dynamic environment. With a start date of early September, this would ideally suit someone immediately available or able to start a new role at short notice.
