Service Desk Analyst recruitment

My client is a well known, well established and respected organisation that is fundamentally known to bring nothing but positive influences to the Australian Community. Employing over 30,000 and almost as many volunteers, this organisation is on of the proudest Australia wide.

They are currently seeking a Service Desk Analyst to join the team in Sydney's CBD, reporting to the Service Operations Manager, the ideal candidate will have between 2-5 years experience in the delivery of positive customer experiences, through the provision of timely and accurate IT Support.

Key capabilities include:

* Demonstrated ability to troubleshoot and diagnose user issues related to the following technologies:

- Microsoft Operating Systems (Server 03, Windows XP/7)

- Microsoft Office Suites 03/07/10, Exchange, Citrix

- Desktop Laptop devices as well as network (voice and data)

* Excellent customer service capabilities including:

- The ability to communicate with users of all levels both technical and hierachial.

- Provide IT user support to a range of users of different skill bases

- Strong working relationships and a team based approach

- Adaptability, flexibility, attention to detail, high level of energy of drive

- Committment to personal goals and excellent interpersonal skills

This is definately the opportunity to challenge any individual, with non-standard IT environments which require different levels of support and technical competency. You will primarily engage yourself in a workforce with a low level of computer literacy, however you will be heavily involved in the ongoing input to the development of IT strategies, processes and standards.
