Our client is a leading specialist insurer based in Dorset and due to continued growth they are seeking to recruit a talented Service Level Manager to promote and manage the effective deployment and practice of Service Level Management elements within the organisation.
This award winning UK Health Insurer is currently seeking an experienced Service Level Manager to join their team working from their Dorset offices. Our client has a complex systems environment with 3 sets of products, 2 sets of systems and multiple 3rd parties and infrastructure spread across several countries. As such the Systems Level Manager will need to possess proven experience in the at least one of the following; data centre moves, major infrastructure outsourcing or business integration projects. You will need to have an excellent understanding of practical service delivery, strong ownership qualities and an excellent understanding of the needs of the business and how to translate them into technical deliverables. You'll possess a solid understanding of project methodologies, able to manage incidents, take control of crisis, co-ordinate multi-vendor and clients and have excellent planning and organisational skills.
The successful Service Level Manager will possess a strong education background in Computer Science, Business Administration or an IT related topic. You'll possess a minimum of 5 years experience in a customer focused environment, preferably in IT, internet or within the software industry and a minimum of 1 years experience in coordinating and managing IT services across different time zones. In addition you'll need 1 year's experience of telephony and related service and 2 years or more of business focused definition of clients needs resulting in the implementation of appropriate technical solutions.
