A vacancy exists for a Trainee Service Technician to work in their established team. Reporting to the Operations Manager you will be trained in the assembly and repair of all mobility products. The position will include repairs and service to a variety of equipment including, Mobility devices such as Motorised Scooters and Wheelchairs, Electric-Beds, Beds, Patient Lifters, Ceiling Hoists, Pressure Mattresses.
To be successful in this role you will need to demonstrate abilities in the following:
- An interest in electronic and mechanical repairs;
- Physically fit and able to lift and move equipment (with appropriate lifting aids);
- Driving company vehicles to collect and deliver products from client s homes
- Welding experience
As a junior you will be up skilled in electromechanical operations and trained in the necessary skills to define, diagnose, repair and perform scheduled maintenance on specialised mobility equipment. All necessary tools and use of a company pool vehicle will be available to you.
