We are currently seeking a Marketing Executive to be based in Shanghai.
Roles and responsibilities will include:
- Formulate and implement marketing strategies with the objective of meeting high levels of footfall, sales and profitability.
- Develop strategies in Marketing Communications and its annual Budget.
- Continually seek new and innovative/creative ideas to ensure top of mind awareness for the mall.
- Ensure the branding and signing of the Mall complies with Group policy and is kept to a high standard.
- Oversee all marketing related activities in the mall which includes public relations, customer service, advertising, promotions, special events, loyalty (CRM) programs, community relations, etc.
- Develop promotion briefs and collaterals.
- Finalise and approve artwork for collaterals.
- Oversee website contents and modifications.
- Continually evaluate the competition and market conditions in order to ensure the mall is effectively positioned in relation to the competition, market demographics and merchandise mix.
- Responsible for driving the mall's marketing advertising income.
- Prepare budget and control, financial management related to marketing.
- Develop a cost effective and efficient media strategy.
- Maximise the performance of advertising, PR and media buying agencies.
- Evaluate all agency contracts on an annual basis.
- Work with media and tenants to seek out synergistic opportunities to leverage budget through sponsorship marketing efforts.
Key skills required:
- Minimum five years experience in Marketing/Events.
- Should have strategic aptitude, budgeting and project management skills.
- Good working knowledge on mall branding and/or media industry.
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills (both English and Mandarin).
- Should possess strong interpersonal and negotiation skills.
- The ability to work under pressure and is hands on.
- Relevant experience and/or Degree.
