Shipper/Receiver - Blackfalds Modular Yard

WorleyParsonsCord Ltd., the construction division of WorleyParsons specializes in the construction and/or design of conventional oil and gas facilities, oil sands and heavy oil facilities, petrochemical plants and thermal power projects. As a fully-integrated EPC and general contractor, WorleyParsonsCord Ltd. is dedicated to safety, quality workmanship and fiscal accountability.
WorleyParsonsCord Ltd. is seeking a Business Development Representative to work with the growing Business Development team.
Shipper/Receiver
The Shipping Receiver will accommodate the company needs by maintaining an inventory system, coordinating shipments, and ensuring shipping documents are filled out and stored in an organized manner.
Responsibilities
Coordinate the logistics of equipment to and from fabrication facilities, modular yards etc.
Maintain records of all outgoing and incoming shipments
Process MTR’s
Prepare shipping documents along with the mailing labels and ensure that all orders are correctly fulfilled
Ensure that the goods delivered are in accordance with approved orders and the associated bill of lading, invoice, or packing list
Maintain inventory of consumables and stock parts and ensure that they are stored in an organized manner
Use mechanical and power vehicles (Loader, Forklift, Pallet Jacks) to load and unload goods from public carriers and inventory.
Requirements
Fork lift Ticket Certified
Two or more years’ experience in shipping/receiving or a similar role.
Excellent problem solving skills, trouble shooting skills and attention to detail.
Strong communication skills and able to work in a team environment.
Ability to lift 50 lbs
Punctual
Efficient in Microsoft Office
Overhead Crane experience an asset
