SIGINT Analyst/Trainer - ISR Mobile Assistance Team

Position Description: The ISR Mobile Assistance Team (ISRMAT) SIGINT A/T will provide both formal and over-the-shoulder teach/coach/mentor training to members of Battalion/Brigade level staffs and intelligence support elements in the integration and synchronization of ISR while in Afghanistan and during pre-deployment exercises. The SIGIN A/T must have a thorough understanding of how different SIGINT capabilities can be used against unit problem sets, and the processes for tasking, collection, processing, exploitation and dissemination. The ISRMAT SIGINT A/T will conduct their duties from both Afghanistan and Newport News, VA on a three month rotation to CONUS. Primary Duties Responsibilities: - Provide both formal and over-the-shoulder teach/coach/mentor training to members of Battalion/Brigade level staffs and intelligence support elements in the integration of air to ground SIGINT capabilities for ISR Synchronization, - Plan, develop, and implement SIGINT products and analytical methodologies to address identified operational issues - Prepare and present the observed and analyzed results from exercises and live deployments, provide feedback and suggestions for improvement to commanders, staffs and intelligence elements Location and Travel - Work location is Newport News, Virginia with three to four month deployments to Afghanistan. CONUS work location is negotiable. - 60% travel OCONUS and CONUS Working Conditions: - Will be wearing Body armor, Helmet, Load bearing equipment, and Rucksack while traveling within Afghanistan - Will be living in field conditions while in Afghanistan remote locations. Required Skills: Education: High School diploma, Associate's Degree preferred Experience: - US Army or USMC, Senior NCO/Mid career military intelligence officer with a SIGINT specialist background. Must have two years of SIGINT collection experience in supporting operations in Afghanistan or Iraq within the past four years. Experience with any of the following: - Low Level Voice Intercept - Communications intelligence collection equipment - Airborne Precision Guidance (APG) - Theater and National asset integration - Be willing to deploy to Afghanistan for 3-4 months at a time - Knowledgeable of Army/Joint SIGINT procedures, data processing systems such as CIDNE, RT-RG, NSANet and associated SIGINT databases/search engines. - Proficient in utilizing basic computer applications, mIRC, Jabber Chat, other intelligence related automation in support of analytical efforts and product development, and Microsoft Office Suite 2003 or later. - Possess strong research and writing skills and capable of effectively operating as a member of an analytical/training team from a remote location in support of Afghanistan Theater of Operations requirements. - Must be a former MOS 2600, 35S/P/N, 35B, 352N/P/Q/R/S, 18F, or equivalent. Security Clearance: - Must have a Top Secret Single Scope Background Investigation (SSBI) or active Top Secret/Special Compartmented Information (TS/SCI) clearance. Conditions of Employment: - Must possess the ability to meet the CENTCOM physical/medical requirements for deployment (including the ability to lift and walk with heavy objects and work in an austere environment.) - Ability to travel to Afghanistan - Must be a US Citizen - Must have a valid passport Preferred Skills: Special Operations SIGINT collection experience is preferred.
