Derivatives DeltaOne Trading Asia includes the equity derivatives, cash trading, arbitrage trading and synthetics activities.
The Derivatives business operates a full service platform, originating equity-based financial solutions and products for wholesale and retail investors globally. Our derivatives portfolio includes OTC options, customised indices and baskets, warrants and structured products. The business has also built a solid reputation as one of Asia's premier warrants issuers and is a top-tier issuer of listed warrants in Hong Kong, Singapore and Korea, Asia's three largest warrant markets.
The Macquarie Securities Group Derivatives business has an opportunity for a Junior Salesperson to join the team in Singapore.
You will be responsible for:
- Market making in the warrants and trading the underlying hedge.
- Maintaining the warrant trading system.
- Providing pricing and liaising with broking clients.
- Planning and organising seminars.
- Replying to investor queries.
- Assisting with the daily newsletter.
- Contributing to the warrant marketing and issuance strategy.
- Preparing reports for management.
- Communicating with traders.
To be successful in this role you will have:
- Prior experience gained from equity markets, ideally in a dealing or execution role.
- Highly numerate with good attention to detail
- A passion for equity markets
- Ability to multi task and work under pressure
- Strong sales and marketing skills.
- Basic knowledge of options.
- Fluency in English.
