Site Engineer

We are keen to field applications from job seekers whom have demonstrable background within site maintenance or NOC's, Switches or Co location sites.

Works as part of a team to provide technical, (preventative) maintenance, repairs, installation and customer service support in order to adhere to agreed SLAs with clients and to maximise client satisfaction. Works both internally with ECSC and other departments, and externally directly with customers.

Execute maintenance and repair of buildings and equipment in order to minimise downtime
- Day-to-day surveillance of buildings and equipment
- Reports all building defects and customer defects to relevant superior
- Document all maintenance and repairs made on buildings in a timely fashion
- Monitor and direct repairs and maintenance
- Pro-actively indicate if SLAs are under pressure
- Act as first point of contact for ECSC for technical requests
- Participate in the full continuous (24x7) call-out team
- Provide practical direction for external security employees
- Testing and installing customer fibre and copper circuits

Execute physical customer implementation process
- Install or supervise installation of customer equipment in the data centre and keep a complete record of the process and results

Provide service delivery of Value Added Services (VAS)
- Perform actual customer services as indicated in the client contract
- Monitor and document customer services provided by external employees
