Snr. Active Fixed Income Performance Analyst

Senior Active Fixed Income Performance Analyst opening working for a leading and well establish Asset Manager with over £430bn AUM.

As the Snr. Active Fixed Income Performance Analyst you will be working in a highly technical team and act as the SME on all Fixed Income related queries, issues and processes. You will be facing off to a wide range of personnel including Operations, IT, Fund management, Marketing teams, Fund Managers and Product Specialist to enhance and deliver relevant analytics. You will also be involved in an industralisation project to enhance the provision of Performance information to internal and external clients.

Your duties will include but is not limited to:
-In-depth analysis of manual and system generated Fixed Income performance and attribution calculations.
-Working with Fund Managers and Product Specialist. Suggest, implement automation and enhancements to FI attribution model and processes.
-Active participation in the FI industrialisation project. Suggesting and implementing efficient and scalable processes for the new AFI attribution solution.
-Develop processes, procedures and systems to support these requirements.
-Continually seek to understand and satisfy clients (internal and external) requirements.
-Ensure appropriate controls and procedures are in place for all functions within the team and supporting documentation is up to date.
-To keep up to date with industry and market changes and appropriately apply to the analysis.
To qualify for the role the successful candidate MUST have:
-Currently performing a Fixed Income Performance Analyst role (within an Investment Management firm).
-Educated to degree level in a numerical specialism, ideally in Mathematics, Economics or other quantitative subject.
-Professional qualification in CFA or CIPM (advantageous).
-In-depth Fixed Income Performance analysis skills including attribution.
-Robust understanding and knowledge in the make-up and methodology of Fixed Income.
-Robust understanding of derivative characteristics and their application within portfolio management.
-Advanced Excel skills (writing macros/ vba).
-Exceptional communication skills (written and verbal) as you will be facing off to Front Office personnel.
-Extremely pro-active and possess an excellent work ethic to go above and beyond expectations.
-Excellent problem solving, organizational and team-work skills.
