Your Responsibilities

On a daily basis, you will be tasked with working on ‘traditional’ Luxembourg Corporate matters such as:

•The set up, registration and subsequent reorganization of companies/entities: including merger and acquisition projects

•Preparing and reviewing of AGM/OGM meetings and liaising with the Board of directors in order to agree the issuing the shares, and capital increase/decrease

•Negotiation, drafting and advising on a wide variety of commercial contracts

.........while will also be afforded the chance to develop a specialism (i.e. Capital Markets, IP/IT, Financing deals, Insurance) which would be a natural stem from these core corporate matters which the firm has specialised in for so many years.
On top of the technical output expected from this additional Lawyer, the firm will also support you with - and allow you the chance to practice - the commercial aspects of the working environment including

•Team management/delegation
•Business development
•Training formation
•Development of skills

Your Competencies

Due to the scope of matters expected and the truly unique nature of this role, the client does have a requirement for you to:

•Have at least 5 years of experience in wide ranging and dynamic Corporate matters based in Luxembourg while have the capacity to, or currently be, registered with the Luxembourg Bar Association – as this can allow you to have the direct impact onto the firms’ client base and efficient department quickly upon joining

•Be able to demonstrate a theoretical base of legal knowledge through envied academic history (ideally including an international LLM) – which will give clients and staff the highest quality legal solutions while match their expectations on rigour and focus

•Hold team-working in high regard while be able to take the lead on matters and drive through projects – which matches the attitude and passion the other senior staff members show daily within the hierarchy

•Be ambitious while able to problem solve – in order to steer the firm forwards at a pace they desire

•Have a strong character - which can lead you to being a robust contact for clients to interact with regularly.
