The Pricing Team is responsible for producing financial analysis to strict deadlines for all existing and potential clients of BNY Mellon EMEA Asset Servicing, plus all new services for existing clients. The products covered are the full suite of global Asset Servicing products, including: Custody, Investment Accounting, Performance and Risk Analytics, Fund Accounting, Transfer Agency, Marketing Support Services, Trustee / Depotbank / Depositary, KAG Services, Derivatives 360 and Middle Office.

The role also involves working closely with a number of areas including: Sales, Relationship Management, Product Specialists, Client Services, Network Management, Billing, Finance and Operations.

Key Responsibilities:
- To work with the Sales Teams in producing financial analysis and proposing financial arrangements for complex multi-product new business / clients.
- To work with the Relationship Management Teams in producing financial analysis and proposing financial arrangements for existing complex multi-product clients.
- Build and contain to maintain good working relationships with colleagues around the organisation that interface with the team, including, but not limited to: Sales, Relationship Management, Billing, Network Management, Securities Operations, European Investment Operations, Client Services, Global Markets, Finance, Product Management, Securities Lending and Client Management.
- For deals that have been approved ensure the fee schedules are reviewed prior to despatch to the client.
- To be able to build ad-hoc complex financial models, where required.
- Ensure that all team guidelines, processes and procedures are followed and anything that may result in an increased level of risk to the organisation is escalated.

Qualifications

Person Specification:

To perform the job successfully, an individual should demonstrate the following competencies:
- Experience within a financial services environment, preferably asset servicing.
- Custody, Fund accounting and transfer agency knowledge would be useful, but is not essential.
- An accountancy qualification (CIMA, ACCA, ACA, etc.) would be useful, but is not essential.
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
- Strong Excel skills are essential.
- Experience in extracting, using and manipulating data for reporting and management information purposes.
- Self motivated and prepared to work with minimal supervision
- Effective written and oral communication skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
- Have a flexible attitude given the varying demands experienced within the function.
