Harrington Starr has partnered with a new start up algorithmic multi-asset trading house to find a Senior Java Developer that will join the technology focused development team in the early stages of the company's formation.

As the Senior Java Developer you will be working directly with the CTO, Traders, QA's and BA's in a full project life cycle, agile and test driven development methodology on greenfield projects. You will be part of the decision making based on the requirements that you will be gathering, this includes strategies on technology direction, design and implementation. You will also need to be flexible with your project management that will enable new trading strategies that will reactive to market conditions.

Key requirements;

* 4+ years Core Java Multi-threaded development knowledge (Essential)
* Experience in FIX Market Connectivity (Beneficial)
* Understanding of Test Driven Development methodology (Essential)
* Strong Object Orientated Programming skills (Required)
* Good communication skills (Required)
* Financial Technology experience (Beneficial)
