Snr Manager – AML
Our client has long standing presences in China and APAC region – and currently their Head of Compliance is seeking a Senior AML Manager to join and support them in building out a robust AML framework across the business. This opportunity will allow you great visibility within the business and global teams.

Your role will be to design, maintain and improve the AML risk and control processes across all the lines of the Banks business including Capital Markets, Private Clients and the Commercial and personal Banking business.
This opportunity will allow you to gain direct exposure to the senior management team, the Heads of the businesses, the wider legal and compliance team and also the Head Quarters Compliance teams.
Your responsibilities include:
- Design and implement solutions to a new AML regulations and policy requirements
- Lead projects on AML Changes
- Create and deliver AML training programs
- Track and resolve any AML issues
- Review new products and initiatives that impact AML
- When need be – acting Anti Fraud case office
- Assist in the completion and coordination of AML Risk Assessment process
- Complete the annual fraud risk assessment
- Handle any suspected fraud cases
To assume this position:
- 5+ years experience in AML within a reputable financial institution
- Minimum 7-10 years experience within the financial institution
- In depth and proven working knowledge in AML regulatory requirements
- Degree qualified
- Clear concise communication skills (Mandarin and English)
- Ability to work under minimal supervision and proactive
- Possess strong work ethic
