Summary

Our client is looking for an SOA Software Developer to work in its Net-Centric Integration Group.

  

Core responsibilities will include developing, integrating and testing solutions for several inter-related projects.  Work will include developing advanced SOA-based applications and services that are secure, assured, and robust in a variety of challenged networking environments.  Candidate will work with project teams to produce, test, deliver and support code for research initiatives, internal project collaborations and external project deliverables in operationally relevant environments.

 

Excellent programming skills with Java, JavaScript, and modern software development tools are required.  Experience with XML and Eclipse is required.  Demonstrated understanding of SOA concepts and technologies such as WSDL, SOAP, Camel, and JMS is required.  Experience with advanced user interface design, and incorporating user feedback is required.  Experience with coordinate transformation and visualization of complex geo-spatial data is desired.

 

 

Qualifications:

·         BS Degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or related field with two years directly related experience.

·         Excellent inter-personal skills and a team-attitude is a must

·         Candidate shall be a self-motivated developer who explores and uses the

latest software techniques and technologies.

·         US Citizenship Required

·         Former Government employees (military and civil service), once selected for work at MIT/LL,  must obtain a Post Government Employment letter from the agency ethics counsel of their last government assignment before they can begin work at MIT/LL
