SOC AND GPU HOST/MULTIENGINE ARCHITECTURE LEAD Job in Santa Clara, California Us

SOC GPU HOST / MULTIENGINE ARCHITECTURE LEAD #1427032

The NVIDIA Architecture group is looking for world class architects to design and verify novel SOC and GPU Host control and multiengine interaction. The lead position is to coordinate an architecture team in the development of new design and verification tests and testbenches. The Architecture position(s) require analysis and debugging of system interactions for Graphics+Computing chips.
Our host architects leverage their sophisticated computer architecture skills, especially scheduling, preemption, system verification, and deadlock analysis.

We continue to expand the role of SOCs and GPUs by adding more features for graphics and Cuda. And the Host and multiengine architects orchestrate the complete system, providing power efficient multitasking and cooperative computing.

In this role, you will be responsible to validate the architecture, and verify against the hardware design. You will develop functional simulators, system level tests, and fullchip scenarios. You will collaborate between GPU designers, SW driver developers, and IP designers of other blocks such as video encoders and decoders.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:
- Expert level C/C++ programming capability required
- Significant prior experience with any of CPU control, SOC design, architectural modeling and simulation, driver development, or hardware design flow highly desired
- PCI-E ordering and bus knowledge
- Multitasking, multithreading, preemption or real time system design
- MS (preferred) or BS in Computer Science with at least 5 years of experience
- Excellent communication skills
- Flexibility/adaptability for working in a dynamic environment with different frameworks and requirements
