Social Media Analyst Associate, under direct supervision, Provide insight to brand health through the lens of social data and voice of customer VOC tools ranging from social listening, product reviews and online surveys. Develop root cause metrics that drive brand health, while promoting social CRM strategies within the brand organization. Influence decision making throughout the organization based on analysis and understanding of real-time consumer behavior. Develop a rapid cadence of brand health report-outs based on social and VOC data . Integrate VOC data into web analytics dashboard . Work with web developers, brand managers and product managers to develop decision support capabilities based on VOC and social data . Maintain thought leadership on tools and methodologies in the social data space What you need to succeed in this position: . Self starter personality, highly developed ability to receive and give feedback as well as to set priorities . BS degree technical field required. BS in marketing engineering or social data analysis, MS, MBA or equivalent job experience is a plus . Excellent written and oral communication skills on technical subjects to a non-technical audience . Ability to de-compose brand sentiment drivers and develop key strategies to influence drivers Attensity . Experience in assessing product and service gaps through review analysis Bazaar Voice . Triangulate multiple VOC tools Social Listening, Surveys, Reviews into a cohesive understanding of the consumer . Experience with web analytics systems required Omniture, CoreMetrics, Webtrends . Working knowledge of marketing channels including email, SEM, SEO and Affiliate . Responsible for assessing the technology investment Attensity and Agency costs in social media. . Translate data and realize the value back to the business.
