Pinstripe, Inc., Headquartered in Charlotte, NC, is a software development firm focused on helping businesses make more money through the use of technology. We provide a wide range of technology services including Application Development, Systems Integration Support, Data Center Services and Software Solutions, with nearly all of our engagements beginning with Business and Technology Consulting.
We currently have between 5 and 10 full time openings for levels 1 to 3 C# (.net Win and ASP.net) and PHP software programmers.
About the Job
OVERALL RESPONSIBILITIES
The overall responsibilities for these positions will vary based on experience level from the following:
· To efficiently and effectively carry out development tasks throughout the full production lifecycle, as directed and architected by company management (levels 1-3).
· To contribute to business analysis, customer consultation, and project architecture as needed (levels 1-3).
· To assist company management in project assessment, resource allocation, supervision of junior developers’ efforts, and employee evaluations (levels 2-3).
· To serve as primary interface between all parties involved for Pinstripe customers’ project managers to manage expectations, communicate and record project changes and impact to budget/timeline (levels 2-3).
· To assist company management in developing overall staff skills and function as a company knowledge base for advanced programming techniques (levels 2-3).
· To perform additional duties as assigned by company management within corporate objectives. (levels 1-3)
Core Competencies
These positions require a broad mix of the following skills for the successful execution of responsibilities:
- Programming/Mark-up languages: C# or PHP a must. VB.net, Objective C, Java, HTML/CSS, Javascript, jQuery, XML, FoxPro also desired.
- Database: MSSQL Server, MySQL, Oracle. Must be able to write simple queries by hand. Level 2 and 3 developers must be able to write complex queries by hand. Level 3 developers must be able to demonstrate a thorough command of complex relational database concepts and various database design practices. Crystal Reports and SSRS experience is preferred for all levels.
- Leadership/Project Management: Consistent and effective communication will be one of the most important skills for all developers. Ability to stay within agreed-upon budget and keep projects within scope will be essential for level 2 and 3 developers.
Experience
We will consider all candidates with either a Bachelor’s degree in computer science or equivalent work experience, with a potential variety of additional certifications.
