My Client is a very well known investment management organization that has a massive global reach. The organization consists primarily of international teams of researchers, traders and technologists who constantly working towards an even greater quantification and automation in the development of its trading processes.
The technology arm of the organization is looking to hire a Senior Engineer. In this particular role, you will be working with the brightest brains on a daily basis and the role eventually will lead to you managing your own projects and junior developers respectively.
The Senior Engineer will be planning, developing, and maintaining the organizations web applications. You will also be responsible for application development itself - this will include all phases from planning and design, writing code and business rules to documentation and end user education you will also be dealing with senior stakeholders on a frequent basis. The Senior Engineer will also be troubleshooting and fixing problems that arise in the existing systems.

Technical Skills required: Software Engineer – Perl/ PHP/ Python / C++/ Java/ Shell Scripting/ HTML/ CSS/ Ajax/ JavaScript - Greenwich, Connecticut USA MUST HAVE
Expert level in scripting languages Perl, PHP or Python
Expert Level in SQL databases in Particular MYSQL
Expert Level in HTML, CSS, Javascript, AJAX
Unix and Linux Environment
Others desirables
Basic Shell scripting
Good Problem Solver
