Software Engineer 3 Job in Fairfax, Virginia Us
Northrop Grumman Information System's Ground Enterprise Operating Unit is looking for a Software Engineer. The group provides the design, development, integration, and deployment of National Space related ground programs as well as the integration of National and Tactical Systems.
Duties:
- Technical support to help desk activities for current system
- Development and maintenance of current operational applications
- Prototyping and evolution of technologies and architectures to support modern tools and methods
Basic Qualifications:
- 5 Years with Bachelors in Science; 3 Years with Masters
- Current TS/SCI with CI Poly
- Technologies: Java and related modern languages and technologies
- Experience with modern IDEs and tools (eclipse, svn, etc.)
- Ability to work in a fast paced laboratory environment with high customer visibility
- Good communications skills, and ability to work in a diverse contractor team
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with map-based tools, COTS integration
- Exposure to web/REST services, SOA, JSON
