Software Engineer, C, C++, STL, Visual Studio, Coventry, West Midlands. A brilliant opportunity has arisen for a talented Software Developer with strong C / C++ experience to join a global organisation. You will join one of the core development teams and work to develop and extend the company's existing application suite to meet new market and user requirements. The right applicant will have excellent C / C++ development skills, with strong associated knowledge of STL and Visual Studio 2010. Any experience with Microfocus DevPartner, SCADA, PLCs, TCP/IP and Bullseye code coverage would also be advantageous but is not essential.
The role will initially focus working within the support group to learn the firm's products but would soon move on to more substantial development and design aspects. A key aspect of the way this company operates is the use of peer review so applicants should be willing and able to work in these conditions and accept the process in a positive way.
Based in Coventry, commutable from Birmingham, Solihull, Leamington Spa, Warwick, Stratford-upon-Avon, Banbury, Rugby, Daventry, Northampton, Lutterworth, Nuneaton, Tamworth and Leicester. Salary £30-35,000, commensurate with experience.
