Software Engineer
Droit Financial Technologies LLC ("Droit") is looking for motivated and intellectually curious technologists interested in working with industry leaders in a cutting edge start-up environment. Full-time roles will involve significant software development, along with business analysis, design and client integration. Eagerness to contribute and engage with team members and clients is essential.
Droit's flagship product will be a primary component in future sales and trading front-office workflow. This is a rare opportunity to work with talented people at the center of disruptive change in global financial markets and build experience in:
- Electronic trading of fixed income derivatives
- Global derivatives regulatory reform (Dodd-Frank, EMIR, MiFID, etc.)
- OTC derivatives clearing
- Real time reporting and data visualization
Qualified candidates have 3-10 years of hands-on technology development experience at a major financial institution. Positions are available from Associate to Senior Vice President, depending on experience and level of potential contribution. Droit is based in New York City, and offers competitive compensation.
Desired Skills and Expertise
- Strong knowledge of Java or Python is required.
- FpML and/or FIX familiarity is strongly preferred.
- Derivative Trade Capture / STP experience is preferred.
- Experience with low latency/scalable platforms is a strong plus.
- Experience with HTML5/CSS/Javascript is helpful for some roles.
- Derivative product knowledge (Rates, Credit, FX, Equities and Commodity swaps) is a plus.
- 3-10 years of technology development experience at a major financial institution is required.
