How would you like to be part of the initial implementation of SAP Business Objects technology? Are you looking for an opportunity to put your programming experience to the test developing applications to meet the dynamic needs of various groups at our Bar Harbor facility?
If so, The Jackson Laboratory has a great opportunity for you. We are seeking a Software Engineer to focus on data warehousing and business intelligence.
Additional Responsibilities Include:
- Providing technical support, innovative solutions, and integrated proposals for network.
- Providing formal documentation, testing and software configuration management.
Required Skills
- Highly desirable skills include experience with Microsoft Visual Studio, SQL Server, and familiarity with SAP Business Objects Technology.
- Strong analytical skills and excellent interpersonal skills
Required Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a closely related discipline with at least 5 years work experience in the above mentioned technologies. Preference will be given to candidates with 8 or more years of experience.
- Understanding of data warehousing and business intelligence concepts such as the ETL development process, star and snow flake schemas, OLAP Cubes and database design principles.
