We are seeking entry level Software Engineers to join our team. You'll use the latest tools and technologies available to deliver state-of-the-art software for the global IBM InfoSphere Master Data Management (MDM) team as we continue to define and dominate the class of enterprise data mastering / distillation middleware. You will be responsible for components of this product suite that are ready to be integrated into IBM's best-of-breed solutions that help organizations improve their business outcomes in the global marketplace.

Your tasks will include:
- Investigating technologies and approaches
- Implementing features
- Resolving issues and fixing defects identified internally or by customers.
- Developing tools and procedures enabling more efficient development.
- Validating the quality and release-readiness of releases.
- Interacting with sales, services and support teams in customer engagements.

In this technically demanding role, you will be utilizing and increasing your skills in various technologies as well as your exposure to other IBM or 3rd party products. In addition to your understanding and experience with object-oriented analysis and design, you will enhance your skills and knowledge in the area of development in an IDE with relational database systems.

You must have excellent critical thinking skills, a deep understanding of the software design principals, excellent written and verbal communication skills, and a passion for building high quality software.

You should be familiar with Java EE technology and WebSphere, database design and usage, C/C++ development, and user interface frameworks such as Dojo. Having familiarity with Agile development methodology, Rational Software Architect, OSGi, MQ, BPM, or z/OS is an asset.
