Up to circa £35,000. Software required to create web based reporting products capable of interfacing with existing and new database formats. The company is a busy, growing SME who design and manufacture electro-mechanical products. The position would suit a candidate from a software engineering, IT, computer systems or business information systems background with a good knowledge of web based reporting tools for MySQL or other database formats.

Key responsibilities of the position will include:

·         The creation of web based reporting products capable of interfacing with existing databases and new database formats.

·         Take responsibility for all reporting functions on the company’s entire suite of current products.

·         Have a key input into decisions on the selection of suitable reporting products.

·         There will also be a requirement to provide 3rd line support to the customer base.

·         Foster good working relationships with the development team and the customer base.

 

To be successful you are likely to have a background in software engineering, IT, business information systems or web applications development with experience of creating web based reporting products capable of interfacing with existing and new database formats. You will demonstrate a good knowledge of web based reporting tools for MySQL or other database formats. The role will also involve providing 3rd line support when required to the customer base so you must have the ability to communicate in a confident manner.

 

Salary and Package:

Up to circa £35,000, plus pension, healthcare, 25 days holidays + stats.

 

This position is commutable from Leamington Spa, Rugby, Daventry, Southam, Northampton, Banbury, Coventry, Lutterworth, Hinckley, Kenilworth, Warwick, Towcester.
