SOFTWARE QA MANAGER #1444301
Represent the Software QA organization in product scoping, planning and architecture discussions with developers and product managers to ensure that Software QA requirements and needs are being met. Work cross functionally, internal and external to SWQA, as Point of contact for SWQA Geforce functional areas including multimedia, multi-display functionality, and 3D; This involves collaborating with SWQA staff and Development stakeholders to develop test plans and validate functionality for new and legacy features
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Ensure alignment of execution priorities across the global GeForce organization, as well as with peer groups
- Work with the leadership team to establish internal processes and improvements for GPU SWQA-GeForce team
- Drive automation content development with internal QA teams and ensure automation is delivering the goals and scope required for the success of the project.
- Drive organizational and personnel development within the SWQA organization, and continually drive the GeForce team towards efficiency and effectiveness via clear KO and KPIs
- Track and communicate project QA status to wide variety of team members internally and externally
- Build broad cross organizational relationships, and leverage them to insure excellent communication and execution
- Ability to provide leadership technical guidance to others, Mentor and motivate staff by instilling creativity, positivity, and teamwork
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:
- A proven history of successfully managing SWQA organizations, preferred if related to SW for HW/Chips
- Requires BS/MS Engineering or Computer Science, or equivalent and 5+ years management experience
- Experience in and strong understanding of Quality and Quality Assurance methodologies and practices
- Must be detail oriented with a proven ability to multitask in a fast moving environment with shifting priorities and changing requirements
- Strong collaborative and team player nature and ability to understand and negotiate tradeoffs
- Experience establishing and building teams, and working with remote teams and promote global team building exercise and strategies
- Ability to work and lead in an interdepartmental team environment is a must
- Excellent communication skills, written and verbal
- Ability to work when the job requires off-hours to work with remote teams
