SOFTWARE QUALITY ENGINEER Job in San Francisco 94105, California Us

Software Quality Engineer (Adobe Systems Inc.; San Francisco, CA) Execute tests on a variety of mobile device operating systems (Android, Windows Mobile, RIM, Palm OS) capture test results from devices and share results with engineering team.  Write, maintain, and build test suite (test cases, plans, reports, etc) for complex features on mobile devices.  Design and architect test suites that run and perform well on small screen/devices taking into account cpu, memory and form factor limitations.  Effectively use test automation to increase the thoroughness of testing.  Familiar with test automation tools for mobile devices and ActionScript Automation API's.  Own the quality and implementation of Multi-touch and Gestures in Flash player for various devices.  Identify and communicate risks based on technical knowledge and experience.  Interact with Flash Player beta users for multiple feature areas (Multi-touch, Gestures, IME and Input text).  Answer questions on product functionality and log bugs where defects exist.  Own quality and implementation of Input Method Editor, and text input in text fields for Flash player on devices.  40 hrs/wk, 9:00 am – 5:00 pm. Requirements: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science and 3 years experience in Software Quality/Quality Assurance role.  In lieu of bachelor’s degree, employer will accept 2 additional years of experience. Experience must include: Expert use of the Flash Player and object oriented coding; Object Oriented Programming in ActionScript; Application Development and Optimization in ActionScript; Feature Analysis and Test Plan Development; MySQL Database Design, Development and Administration; Backend Web Services Development; ColdFusion Development; Expertise with Flash Authoring Tools.
