Location: Beaverton, OR, or Waterloo, ON
About the Role:
Seeking a talented software security engineer to integrate security best practices into a range of consumer applications. Technology will primarily focus on client-side C/C++, web technology (.NET), and mobile offerings. Candidates should have at least a working knowledge of product security best practices.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design reviews from a security perspective
- Threat modeling
- Static analysis
- Composition and delivery of security-related training material
- Security test case execution
- Penetration testing
Qualifications
Required Experience/Skills Education:
- B.S. of Computer Science (or equivalent professional experience)
- In-depth knowledge of Windows OS
- Solid coding background in areas such as C/C++, scripting, .NET, and/or mobile
- Network and protocol knowledge (HTTP, TCP, etc.)
- Experience with software security validation (professionally or academically)
- Familiarity with security vulnerabilities and software security assessment
- Experience with source code analysis
