Software Sourcing Manager recruitment

The Manager of IT Software / SaaS Sourcing will be a primary business partner to the IT asset management team, IT operations team and IT Purchasing team while reporting to the IT Sourcing group for functional alignment and procurement resources. This position will work closely with leadership in the ongoing development of the company's IT software sourcing strategy and will be responsible for major vendor contracts, including software licensing, IT professional services, IT hardware, etc.

Responsibilities:
50% Contract Project Management
-Manage the full life cycle of supplier contracts: supplier selection/RFX process, leading supplier negotiations focusing in on commercial / pricing benefits, meeting internal requirements and mitigating risk, performing financial analyses, and ensuring adherence to master agreements
-Monitor and ensure adherence to financial and legal policies and procedures and measure contract SLA's and provide data/recommendations to key stakeholders

20% Category Strategy
-Implement category strategy, in support of AVP IT Sourcing
-Identify and execute new opportunities to advance and communicate policies, procedures, and strategic goals
-Collaborate with IT Asset Management and IT organizations to support Asset Management project goals within the context of the Sourcing Strategy

15% Supplier Management
-0Conduct reviews of strategic suppliers, identify opportunities for greater leverage, economic value, etc.
-Provide leadership in supplier relationship(s), resolving escalating problems, as well as to provide vendor performance feedback as necessary.
-Maintain the awareness of current market trends and conditions that affect suppliers, cost of goods, pricing and may have operational or strategic implications for the company.

15%-Procure-to-Pay
-Manage IT software spend procure-to-pay process in partnership with Purchasing and Asset Management teams.

Qualifications
-Bachelor's in Business, Computer Science, or Supply Chain Management
-Minimum 5-7+ years strategic sourcing work experience within a fortune 500 corporate environment. Candidate should have prior experience in working with Technology related products and services such as software licenses, SaaS, servers, PC, storage area networks, switches, routers, as well as outsourcing services
-Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint)
-Solid presentation skills and creative thinking abilities. Proven performance demonstrating ability to communicate complex information clearly and concisely
-Demonstrated persuasion and negotiation skills are required
-Ability to prioritize multiple tasks and strong project management skills a must
-Ability to simultaneously manage a staff, manage projects, as well as to deliver as a subject matter expert
-Experience with the full life cycle of contracts required
