Software Tester Treasury (Money Market & Foreign Exchange)

Position Description:
Tester will work in a collaborative team environment testing new generation core banking system build using Java technologies. Resource will work as business analyst and tester in development team and work closely with PMG (Product Management Team) to receive and process business requirements and direction on product roadmap.
* Create, review and obtain approval for test plan, test scripts and test cases. Execute test plan and conduct testing (as a team or as individual) as per planned. Liaise with various departments to obtain necessary sign-off for end-product
* Create functional and non-functional requirements documentation that developers can use to create applications that support the functional, technical and visual requirements. This include developing business use cases and screen mockups describing the business processes and expected functional experience
* Conduct analysis of the current systems using interviews, document analysis, requirements workshops, surveys, site visits, business process descriptions, use cases, scenarios analysis, task and workflow analysis
* Serves as the conduit between customer community (internal and external customers) and the software development team through which requirements flow
* Collaborate with developers and subject matter experts to establish the technical vision and analyse trade-offs between usability and performance needs
Position Requirements:
* University/College degree with minimum 5 years working experience in system development related area
* Excellent verbal and written communication skills and the ability to interact professionally with a diverse group, managers, and subject matter experts
* Experience with quality assurance and its methodology
* Able to develop requirements specifications and various documentation according to standard templates, using natural language
* Strong analytical skills required, including a thorough understanding of how to interpret customer business needs and translate them into application and operational requirements
* Understand treasury modules -Money Market and Foreign Exchange
