Software test engineer wanted at exciting Cambridge firm
A senior software tester is needed to join an accomplished team of software test engineers at a successful firm based in Cambridge. Due to unrivalled market success, the firm are rapidly-expanding and are looking to add to the team of dynamic and enthusiastic software testers. You will be entering a friendly and collaborative environment and you, as a senior software test engineer, will help drive your team towards ensuring that software test results are delivered on time. You will also have the opportunity to take charge of the testing of major aspects of the projects that have defined and shaped the company up to the present day.
As a senior software test engineer you will have:
- An excellent, proven experience of at least one scripting/programming language, namely Java, Perl, C++ C or matlab.
- Proven understanding of software test methodologies.
- Proven experience of testing commercial software.
- Good understanding of software test debug technique.
- Minimum 3 years of experience as a test engineer / software tester
As a senior software test engineer will also have experience of wireless communication protocols such as Bluetooth, UWB or Wi-Fi.
