Sofware Developer (C++ programmer
Strong Software Developer (C++ programmer - OOD, UI, Complex codebase experience) needed for an initial 3 - 4 month role in Edinburgh. The right candidate must have extensive previous experience in C++ development Programming along with strong Object Oriented Design (OOD) experience combined with the ability to work with a large, complex codebase, ideally within a scientific / engineering or IT company environment and will have demonstrable commercial Software Application Development ideally Image Processing experience. Experience within an Agile Wintel environment would be advantageous and a good understanding of mathematics is desirable. In addition you should have experience in Visual Studio, knowledge and experience of the full development life cycle and some experience in User Interface Design (UI). Experience in Matlab and an awareness of Image Processing methods is desirable. Excellent communication skills and the ability to be a good team player are essential.
