Position Responsibilities:
- Lead "white board" solution discussions with business unit Executive Leadership
- Create application architecture and high level technical specification documents
- Ability to produce good design concepts and exposure to design patterns and best practices
- Ability to analyze complex issues and recommend solutions
- Address issues in performance, scalability and manageability in programming efforts
- Perform effective code reviews and provide suggestions to developers
- Assist the Project Manager in establishing project requirements and change management activities
- Understand project requirements and prepare requirements artifacts (Prototype, Use Case Model, and Use Case Descriptions, Supplementary Software Requirements, etc.)
- Analyze requirements and prepare analysis and design artifacts (Data base design, Analysis Model, Design Model, component specification, etc.)
- Establish and maintain project specific standards, guidelines, checklists and templates
- Review and approval of developed modules
- Resolve any defects reported by peer reviews, independent verification and validation and testing
- Participate in peer reviews
Position Requirements:
- Expert architecture, design, implementation skills in the following areas: C#, ASP.NET, SQL Server, SOA, and web based design and development
- Strong SQL Skills
- High degree of understanding in security, scalability, flexibility, maintainability, and reliability
- Minimum of 5 years experience leading analysis, design and architecture of enterprise platforms
- Architect experience with multi-tier, highly available, scalable, performance-oriented geographically distributed environments
- Experience with software version control/configuration management tools
- Experienced leading development teams
- Ability to work effectively as a team member, across project teams, and independently
- Excellent communication, influencing, and relationship skills
- Strong problem identification and problem solving skills
- Experience with lending applications
- Experience with remote field locations
- SharePoint 2010 a plus
Technical Knowledge:
- Specialized training required to achieve the position mission
- Demonstrated knowledge to quickly learn TMX's present application architecture and integration/interface points
- Demonstrated experience in application design and development
- Demonstrated knowledge of legacy software and architecting solutions and ability to migrate software and IT environments from legacy environments to current solutions
- Microsoft-related certification preferred.
