The company offer encompasses a wide range of product solutions in the reduction of energy in the built environment including metering software and solutions, control systems, IT power monitoring, PC power management, and web-based reporting and communication tools. The role is to develop new business opportunities for projects, end users and accounts, driving sales to a close through existing leads, utilising one’s own existing contacts and developing new opportunities.

Responsibilities

·         Meet and exceed agreed sales targets in line with the company business objectives

·         Take responsibility for the sourcing, development and closing of one’s own sales opportunities along with sales leads presented by the company

·         Develop and build professional customer relationships with existing, new and potential clients who operate in the commercial office, public sector and education sectors to support sales into these accounts

·         Support the Sales Management function with the sourcing, development, negotiation and closing of strategic sales opportunities in line with the company growth strategy

·         Support the development and management of a framework of Resellers, Solution Providers and Product Partners based in the UK

·         Maintain excellent relationships with end clients, installers, framework partners and where necessary support the company in delivering after sales support

·         Consider innovative means to develop new sources of profitable business whilst working within a rapidly growing company

·         Deliver exceptional sales presentations – the company will supply materials for presentation although the role will occasionally require the development of own materials

·         Write detailed tender documents to support the commercial function in the delivery of projects

·         Represent the company at industry events, exhibitions, networking events - promoting an image of professionalism at all times.

·         Maintain records and relevant contract documentation in the support of tenders and re-bids for the Business.​

·         Keep the company fully updated on all activity by fulfilling sales support systems (CRM), providing ad-hoc and monthly reports as required by the Sales Director.

·         Provide technical and sales support across the business as and when required
