Solution Specialist

Eigen provides the hardware, software and systems for accepting and managing payments.
The person fulfilling the Solution Specialist - Sales role should be self-starting, competitive, imaginative, persuasive and self-confident.
Duties and responsibilities:
- Build relationships with accounts through a consultative selling approach.
- Sell existing products and services to inquiring accounts:
- Products include eCommerce APIs, mobile payments solutions, wireless and point-of-sale integration hardware and software, recurring payment solutions.
o Services include consulting work on PCI compliance matters, custom development work to match a customer’s specific architecture or project.
- Assess accounts’ needs and resources and recommend the optimal solution for their business based on the accounts’ objectives, budget and timelines.
- Provide input on solutions for accounts where these solutions need to be tailored to suit specific architecture and/or projects and estimate costs of solution implementation and maintenance.
- Respond to inquiries in a timely and professional manner, provide ongoing support and consult with customers after sales to resolve problems.
- Call on existing accounts regarding supply reorders and up-sell new or enhanced solutions.
- Maintain relationships with existing referral partners.
- Prospect for new business opportunities by developing referral channels and cold calling all across Canada.

- Organized and efficient
- Reasonable PC skills/literacy
- Knowledge and training in technology
- Fluent in English and French
- Bachelor’s degree in a technical field is an asset
- Experience within a sales or service environment is an asset
