Payments Business analyst - Settlements
Up to £68,000 p/a City Of London
A Leading Investment bank is looking for a Business Analyst to work within their settlements team. The candidate will work on business related settlement projects within the software services team.
This role is ideal for a Business Analyst with experience in the settlements area, looking to expand their experience and knowledge within this domain. Typical projects are around SEPA (Single Euro Payment area) Credit Transfer, Direct Debit, TARGET2, SWIFT and CMS (Cash Management System) in the Platform
Service - Transaction Banking Services Team of European Systems Office.
Responsibilities of the role are as follows:
• Analyse Production issues in Transaction Banking platform, design and plan to fix these issues
• Capture operational and service level requirements from relevant stakeholders
• Analyse existing systems and perform gap analysis based on requirements
• Further elaborate on requirements analysis and design, producing an External Design which enables users to confirm the functionality, architects to review and developers to further design and develop.
• Contribute to the planning, execution and verification of V-model-style Component Testing, Integration Testing and system testing in addition to supporting and executing User Acceptance Testing (UAT)
• Regularly reporting the project progress to the line manager
