Solutions Designer (Middleware) Job in Basingstoke, Southern Uk

The role:
The Solutions Designer - Middleware will be responsible for the technical end to end design integration of all specific Middleware solutions (from initiation or change request, through to handover to Operations) producing detailed solution design documentation and technical specifications where necessary for the middleware platforms.
The Candidate:
You the Solutions Designer will have experience from similar roles with Middleware, utilising the following technologies:
- Junit
-UML
-XHTML
- SUN Java CAPS or other EAI tool beneficial
Responsibilities
- Produce detailed end-to-end solution designs for the middleware / SOA platforms based on specific project related business requirements and architectural guidelines
- Where appropriate produce detailed platform-specific technical specifications ensuring they accommodate Product, Technical strategies and Architecture roadmap requirements
- Ensure technical specifications are at a low enough level to be the basis for development and adhere to the standards of the target development team and technology
- Design service interfaces which take into consideration the context of use by the consuming application(s)
- Create UML models to support documentation (activity, sequence, component and class diagrams)
- Ensure "testability" of the solution is designed in from the start (e.g. framework for unit testing such as JUNIT)
